Manila Mart Limited-Run Merch

Overview

In collaboration with beloved DMV Asian grocery staple Manila Mart, we conceptualized, launched, and managed a limited-edition apparel drop designed to celebrate their iconic kitchen menu and deeply rooted community presence. Centered around their famous hot, fresh lumpia (the namesake for the collection) the drop transformed a hyper-local culinary cult following into a high-demand streetwear capsule—combining custom apparel, targeted digital ad creative, and a high-FOMO e-commerce drop window that engaged loyal patrons and new customers across the region.

Scope

  • Merchandise & Design: Creative direction, apparel design, and product catalog curation (t-shirts, hoodies, crewneck sweatshirts, embroidered hats, tote bags, and accessories).

  • E-Commerce & Tech Stack: Storefront setup, custom product pages, inventory management, and automated print-on-demand backend integration.

  • Marketing & Strategy: Paid social ad strategy (Meta), organic launch playbooks, and localized promotional collateral.

  • Fulfillment & Operations: Customer service management, order routing, tax configuration, and revenue settlement reporting.

Results

  • 230 units sold in a single limited-window drop.

  • $11,000+ in total revenue generated in under 10 days.

  • 500,000 annual organic impressions – the equivalent of about $10,000 in Facebook ads, or advertising Manila Mart on stage in the Capital One Arena every night for 25 nights straight.

  • 4x Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) across paid social campaigns.

  • Zero pre-inventory risk or warehousing overhead for the client.

  • Expanded digital reach, driving hundreds of new online customers to Manila Mart's broader brand ecosystem.

In just 10 days, the limited-run capsule generated $11,000 in gross sales, completely selling out the collection. Driven by a high-urgency social strategy, the marketing campaign generated massive brand exposure, pulling in 165,000 views and reaching 28,000 unique accounts on Instagram. The premium positioning of the gear drove an exceptional $114 AOV – nearly double the industry benchmark of $65 – proving that a highly engaged local audience will happily invest in their favorite neighborhood spot at a high-ticket level.

As a small business owner, I had little to no experience designing merchandise or selling products online. Working with Regan Agency made the entire process—from design and website development to launch day—enjoyable and effortless.

Bridget always came to our meetings prepared, having done her own research and taking the time to learn Manila Mart’s history. She was a great listener, paid close attention to detail, and helped bring the vision to life in a way that felt authentic to our brand.

Throughout the project, Bridget kept me informed every step of the way, stayed incredibly organized, and brought valuable expertise in marketing and ad strategy to help ensure a successful launch.
