“I used to visit DC often as a kid. I grew up in a remote rural town outside of Pittsburgh, and the trips to see my extended family in DC opened my eyes to a whole world beyond what I was used to. My relatives didn’t just live in DC, though – they contributed.
As architects, their work spanned from building local hospitals, to renovating Pennsylvania Avenue in the 80s, to developing Washington Harbor out of a once-forgotten area alongside the Potomac. I was always so inspired by my Regan family who were pouring their professional talents back into helping keep the city beautiful, happy and growing.
Fast forward a few decades: I live in DC now, too, but you won’t find me building hospitals or erecting landmarks. At Regan, we grow brick-and-mortar businesses. Leveraging nearly 20 years of agency and in-house experience, we help bring brands to life in physical spaces through research, strategy and design.
Seeing our clients succeed in connecting on an emotional level with their audiences is one of my greatest passions, and every day I’m grateful that I get to do it here in the city that I love so much. It’s a privilege that I’ll never take for granted.

Others may try to convince you to brainstorm concepts in the first meeting, before they know your goals or (worse) your audience. But trust us – it’s a party trick. Instead, we employ a human-first approach, which means we don’t start brainstorming ideas until we know exactly who we’re solving for, and what will serve them best.
Uncommonly brilliant.
Every member of our team is weirdly masterful in their area of expertise. We lovingly refer to this as the Not-Full-Service Difference: When you don’t have to claim you’re an expert at everything, it allows you to become an actual expert at something. And man, that makes a difference.
